Dublin Teen Idol 2010
Hi all, well here we go again 2010 and its Rockin n Rollin. We launched our competition in the Submarine bar on June 25th with X Factor's Eoghan Quigg performing live. We also had the cream of our 2009 contestants performing on the night. They were superb and we had a memorable night of top class entertainment. AUDITIONS are ongoing every sat & Sun and this year we have a slightly different format with the Judges making their decision on the spot so all contestants know if they get through to the heats stages. HEATS are up and running since 7th August and the talent is fantastic.
Dublin Teen Idol is part of an All-Ireland singing competition for 13-18 year olds. Its open to both male and female competitors. The Teen Idol competition has been running for the last 8 years and 2008 was the 1st All-Ireland Teen Idol competition run nationwide. We are very proud to say, Michael Costello from Dublin Teen Idol won the 1st All-Ireland last year.
Our aim is to showcase the hugely talented Irish teenagers and give them the opportunity to represent their county "Dublin" in the very competitve all Ireland Teen Idol Final. Its competitive but great fun and a brilliant way for teenage singers to take their first steps into the world of entertainment.
Like the xfactor Dublin Teenidol is a stepping stone and a start to your singing career.
